New energy for cross-country skiers! Trail highlights in Lungau: Cross-country skiing fans will find three groomed trails in the Taurach Valley (Mauterndorf, Mariapfarr-Lignitz, St. Andrä) offering renewed energy and a longer season – pure enjoyment for both classic and skate skiing!
The "Loipenfuchs" cross-country skiing ticket makes it easy. The Loipenfuchs can be purchased at tourist information offices, selected businesses, or via QR code directly at trailheads and grants unlimited cross-country skiing fun on trails in Mauterndorf, Mariapfarr-Lignitz, and St. Andrä.
Prices: Children up to 15 years ski free, adult day ticket: € 6.00, 3-day adult ticket: € 15.00, 7-day adult ticket: € 25.00

Lignitz altitude track
incl. lighting and biathlon possibility
The Lignitz altitude track even has snow-making facilities, guaranteeing cross-country skiing fun even when Mother Holle doesn't mean it so well. There are laser biathlon stations twice a week (Wednesday & Friday afternoon). The trail is illuminated, so nothing stands in the way of cross-country skiing fun in the evening.
Other mountain trails can be found at Prebersee, in Schönfeld and the Gnadenalm. To use Austria’s award winning ski trails, you can choose from day, weekly or seasons passes (Lungau Loipennadel). You can purchase these cards with us or at the tourist office.
