Samsonumzüge

"Samsonumzüge" are unique to the Lungau region and are special traditions that date back to the 16th century.  “Samson” the giant is a hero from the bible and the symbol of the Lungau.  The winner who pulls the over 80 Kilo weights must accomplish a true tour de force, performing Samson’s dance.
