Within 20 minutes by car (or 30 minutes by ski bus) you can reach the best ski areas in Lungau and Salzburger Land from our hotel. LUNGO ski pass: 1 pass - 4 ski areas

With the Lungo ski pass, there are always new slopes to discover for all ages! The ski pass covers all three major Lungau ski areas – Grosseck-Speiereck, Fanningberg, and Katschberg-Aineck – as well as the small lifts Zederhaus, Lessach, Schönfeld, and Krakau. The top ski resort of Obertauern is also included.

This gives you access to up to 250 kilometers of slopes with just one ski pass – from Katschberg through the Salzburg Lungau region all the way up to Obertauern.

All ski areas are easily accessible by ski bus, which is even free with a valid ski ticket. From our hotel, you can reach the best ski areas in Lungau and SalzburgerLand within 20 minutes by car (or 30 minutes by ski bus).

Now all you have to do is decide which of the top ski areas you want to conquer first – because one thing is certain: The LUNGO ski region is calling!

You have the option of choosing between 2 regional ski passes or the Salzburg Super Ski Card:

The Lungau ski pass for Fanningberg, Großeck-Speiereck und Katschberg-Aineck or
the Lungo-ski pass for all Lungau ski resorts including Obertauern
SSSC (Salzburg Super Ski Card): With the Salzburg Super Ski Card you have access to all 25 ski regions in Salzburger Land and the neighboring ski areas in Tyrol. That means more than 2,700 kilometers of pistes, 925 cable cars and that with a flexible price model (optional subscription).

The ski tickets are available at all ticket offices of the Lungau ski areas. A valid ski pass is also your ticket to access the free ski bus that takes you across the Lungau region. The ski bus stop - directly behind the church - can be reached on foot in less than 1 minute from the Örlgwirt Ferienwelt.

For our guests we have our own ski room with ski boot dryer directly opposite the hotel.

Perfectly organized for your skiing holiday in Lungau

Of course you can also rent your ski equipment. The Sport Pichler ski rental can be reached in approx. 10 minutes on foot or 2 minutes by car from us or has a shop directly at the valley station of the Fanning cable cars.

The Funny Ski School is also located at the valley station of the Fanning cable car, and will be happy to teach your children to ski in a fun and enjoyable way. If you prefer to start straight away in a larger ski area and learn to ski there, the Smarty ski school at the valley station of the Großeck-Speiereck cable car is the right choice.
