New from May 2025: Mobility Fee to Promote Sustainable Transport
Starting May 1, 2025, Salzburg is introducing an exciting new initiative: the Mobility Fee. This measure supports the expansion of public transportation and promotes sustainable mobility—an important step towards environmentally friendly travel.
Important for our guests: The Mobility Fee will initially be € 0.50 per person per night and will increase to € 1.10 from May 1, 2027. For your planning: The fee will be conveniently calculated together with the local tax. From May 2025, the total amount will be € 2.80 (€2.30 local tax + €0.50 Mobility Fee) and will be clearly displayed at the time of booking.
